Fully automatic traffic cone
management system

X-Cone is a fully automated traffic cone management system offering a higher level of safety for workers and maximum efficiency for contractors. By using the illuminated touchscreen control the driver can select the desiered cone spacing which can be from 10 meters to open end. Once this is set X-Cone can deploy as well as collect traffic cones fully automatic. X-Cone operates multidirectional. The machine can deploy/ collect traffic cones from either right- or left hand side, as well as in and against traffic flow direction. Because of the multiderictional design the machine can be used for any job.

PLC

Our smart PLC is the heart of the machine. In addition to the smart PLC control X-Cone is fitted with integrated charging system as well as a buffer battery. All relevant parts in the control box are easily accessible for service and maintenance purposes.

Forklift opening

With the integrated forklift openings on the left and right hand side of the machine, X-Cone can be mounted as well as dismounted fast and easy.

Guide cone positioner

The cone positioner is needed to collect the cones. This component positions the guide cone so that the machine can pick it up automatically. The positioner is flexibly adjustable. In this way, guide cones can optionally be used both in forward as well as be collected in reverse.

A guide cone positioner is included in the scope of delivery.

LED Advanced warning lamps

For prewarning of oncoming traffic there are various LED warning lamps available. The LED warning lamps can easily be installed. They can alse be integrated and controlled vie the touchscreen control panel of the X-Cone machine. All our LED advanced warning lamps are compliant with EN 12352 standard for classe L2H, L8H and L9H.

Remote service access point

For service and maintenance X-Cone comes with a integrated remote service access tool. Regardless of the location our service team can get remote access to the X-Cone machine on demand. This can be arranged via creating a hotspot with any mobile device. This feature enables our service engineers to check the status of the machine online and provide technical support if needed.

MobiLED message boards

In order to provide better prewarning for road users there are various options of LED light arrow systems available. Depending on your needs you can choose a variety of different message board options. From a simple LP15 light arrow board to a fullmatrix RGB message board – everything is possible. All our LED lamps are compliant with EN-12352 standard. All our fullmatrix message boards are compliant with EN 12966 standard.

Dual camera system

Get full visual control of the X-Cone machine with the dual camera system. All working processes of the X-Cone machine can be controlled via two cameras which montitor the system in real time. Using the camera system improves the safety and makes it easy for the drivers to operate the machine.

Automatic warning markers

Up to 4 pcs. automatic warning markers increase the safety and visibility of the X-Cone in use. The markers are covered with directional reflective tape and also have an LED light for better visibility. By pushing the button on the control panel, the markers fold down 90° and increase the visibility of the X-Cone vehicle, especially during night time as well as during tunnel operations.

Cone Gripper

The pneumatic Cone Gripper is used to pick up the traffic cones. The cone cripper is made of stainless steel and can be modified to be used with various different traffic cone models if required.

Stainless steel grippers are used for the cone pick up procedure. The special design of the cone gripper ensures safe and stable operation at almost all weather conditions.

LED worklight

The high-performance LED work lights enable maximum visibility even when working at night or in tunnels. The LED worklights illuminate the critical area when placing/ collecting the traffic cones. It increases the safety and makes work easier for the driver.
